TIAA-CREF's Internal Wholesalers do not consider a sale to be the end result, but the beginning of an ongoing and cooperative opportunity for both the advisor and TIAA-CREF. While Advisor Services may resemble typical wholesaling groups, the value and attention we provide has allowed us to create mutually beneficial working relationships for TIAA-CREF and advisors. And as you know, this is not the standard approach in our industry.
A Three-Tiered Service Model
TIAA-CREF's Advisor Services values and cultivates advisor relationships. We will provide the service and support and, most important, the value that you need to effectively grow and manage your business and your client relationships. We have implemented a three-tiered service model for working with our clients:
- The Internal Wholesalers establish new relationships with interested advisors or firms, assisting with the TIAA-CREF registration process and working to ensure that all areas of potential in the relationship have been explored and maximized.
- The Regional Directors are the faces to the Advisor Services support. They meet with any advisor or firm that has agreed to work together to help strengthen our commitment to the relationship.
- The Internal Wholesalers provide all post-sale support to the firms. Advisor Specialists who have full information on all aspects of all our investment and insurance solutions work one-on-one with advisors.
